Weekly Alluviance #149: The ROI of the Woo Woo

Here is the most misunderstood thing I encounter over and over again when it comes to teaching sales professionals about the inner game...
Straight from the mouth of a CRO:
“I don’t need any of this woo woo sh!t. The purpose of this company is to make money.”
And you know what? There's real truth in that. We're in sales. Making money is a fundamental part of the game.
But it's not the whole truth. That's like saying the only purpose of a championship team is to look at the scoreboard. The scoreboard doesn't win the game. It’s just the result of a team that’s connected, purposeful, and relentlessly focused on the fundamentals.
So let’s talk about ROI.
What's the actual cost of:
a team that's quietly disengaged, just going through the motions?
your top rep hitting rock bottom from burnout and quitting?
a culture where no one feels safe enough to be honest about their pipeline?
That's the invisible tax you pay when you ignore the human element.
So, what happens when you actually invest in that "woo woo sh!t?" What's the tangible return?
Don't take my word for it. Here’s the data, straight from the people in the Alluviance community doing the work:
“I’m making 4x more money, I’m engaged and planning an epic wedding, and my relationship keeps deepening. I’m more connected to my true self... treating myself with real love, tenderness, and grace.”
This is the whole formula in one sentence. The inner work (love, tenderness, grace) directly fuels the outer result (4x more money).
Still not convinced? We've got stories like these for days:
“In the 17 months since I've joined Alluviance, I've been able to increase my income 74% YOY, go to President’s Club twice, and make the leap from mid-market to enterprise sales.”
“I landed a role at one of the top organizations in February, and closed out Q1 at 1084%, a lot of this is based on what I’ve learned in Alluviance.”
This is the ROI of purpose. This is the ROI of community. This is the ROI of giving your people the tools to master their inner game.
The "woo woo sh!t" isn't a distraction from the number.
It’s the fastest path to it.
