It’s that time of year.
The timeline is flooded with "New Year, New Me." There’s a massive pressure to have a perfect, crystal-clear vision for the next 12 months locked and loaded.
I'm here to offer a different perspective.
A great vision isn't a static blueprint you create on January 1st. It’s a living, breathing thing that evolves as you do.
The biggest mistake I see people make is treating their vision like a one-time epiphany. Like it's a destination they are supposed to arrive at.
This is playing out inside Alluviance right now.
The vision that worked for us when we were a scrappy team of 4 would suffocate us now that we're a team of 12 incredible leaders. The way I needed to show up for that first vision is no longer relevant; it's outdated.
And that’s not a failure. It's proof of growth.
With every client we serve, every immersion we run, another piece of the puzzle gets revealed. The vision gets clearer, sharper, and deeper.
A powerful vision isn't a perfect, laminated map.
It’s a compass and a half-drawn map. You know the general direction, but you have to walk the territory to fill in the details.
So as you step into 2026, I want to challenge you.
Instead of asking, "What's my perfect plan for the year?"
Try asking a quieter, more powerful question:
The answers are there. You just have to get quiet enough to hear them.
