AI is about to change everything. If that sounds dramatic, good. This the reality we’re facing.


The world of sales, and the world at large, is standing on the edge of a massive transformation. It’s already reshaping how we connect, communicate, and close deals.


So, what does that mean for you right now?


It means the rules we’ve relied on are crumbling.


There was a time when success in sales meant following the playbook: memorize the scripts, stick to the metrics, hit your quota, rinse and repeat. But the game has changed. Buyers are more informed than ever, AI can handle the mundane, and robotic, cookie-cutter approaches are being sniffed out and rejected faster than you can say, “Do you have 15 minutes for a quick call?”


The playbook? It doesn’t fit anymore.


This isn’t a bad thing. In fact, it’s a gift. Because when the old rules don’t apply, there is massive opportunity in the transition.


The future of sales doesn’t belong to the most polished scripts or the flashiest tech stacks. It belongs to those bold enough to show up as themselves. Authenticity is one thing AI can’t replicate. It can surface data, but it can’t build trust. It can suggest the next step, but it can’t replace your intuition. And it can optimize processes, but it can't understand the complexities of human connection (at least not yet 🙈).


The playbook is cooked. Let that thing burn.


Stop chasing what worked for someone else last year or even last month. The most meaningful work you can do now is not trying to replicate someone else's previous success or following the latest influencer trends. It’s about getting real with yourself and asking: What truly connects me to the people I serve?


Leading with authenticity isn’t just a strategy. It is the way forward.


Let this be the year you ditch the old rules and get real. Show up for your team, your clients, and yourself in a way that feels the most true and alive.


The playbook is done and not coming back. Thankfully. But you know what will always work? Your authenticity. Your courage. Your ability to adapt and connect. And this is how we win in 2025.
