About 5 years ago I took the Wealth Dynamics test, a profiling tool to help you understand your natural strengths. My profile came back as a Star, which signifies my personality and charisma as great assets and that I like to shine bright, like I star 🤩 Makes sense considering I'm a sales professional, a leader, and a speaker.
This star persona has been leveraged in sales to create competition - a race to the top where the winners get the spoils and the losers are looking for a new job. It's no wonder that many of us end up feeling isolated, disconnected, and misunderstood.
Yet, amidst this competitive frenzy, it's important to remember that we're not islands. We are humans who crave connection, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging.
A strong community of Stars is like a constellation in the night sky. Each star might be light-years away from another, yet together they form a recognizable pattern that guides explorers on Earth. Sales professionals within a community may have distinct paths, yet they come together to form patterns of support, guidance, and inspiration for each other.
Alluviance is helping sales professionals recognize that they have been a part of a constellation all along and that they are not alone. The community we are building is just getting started and the impact is already creating massive ripples.
