Weekly Alluviance #30: Get Real Bro
YOUR WEEKLY DOSE OF ALLUVIANCE!
Although none of you have said this directly to me, I know some of you have been thinking it. It's ok. I see you.
"Get real Alex. There's no way you are fired up and fully alive to walk into the office every day and crush sales."
And you know what? You're right. I'm not. And anyone who says that they live every single moment of their life in joy and bliss is either full of shit or full of denial. It's an impossible standard.
But...
I've cultivated practices and a community who support me in my efforts to be coming from my Alluviant Leader as much as possible. These things remind me to connect to my higher self and build towards a life I desire that brings meaningful impact. To treat each day as sacred even when I sometimes wake up a little cranky.
This is what we do at Alluviance and what I'm inviting you to with Arise: we get real with where we are at, connect to something bigger than ourselves, and support each other each step of the way.
I'm here to remind you today that you don't have to do it alone.
1. The Rising Leader Podcast:
Repost: Leading a life of Wealth & Worth: How to build a Strong Foundation for Sales Success with Scott Leese
No new episode this week while our boys in the lab cook up some new things for you all. This week we are throwing back to our podcast with Scott Leese as he'll be joining us in Austin this November for the Arise Immersion. If you're joining us, give this one a listen and take some notes for when you meet Scott in person!
Find it on Spotify and Apple Podcast.
2. Featured LinkedIn Post:
Over the past 5 years I've hired, trained and coached over 350 tech sales professionals. The people who are both top performers AND actually enjoying their life almost always had these 3 things👇
3. Quote to fuel your Alluviance:
"The easiest thing to be in the world is you. The most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be. Don’t let them put you in that position." – Leo Buscaglia
Practice over perfection. That's the game.
