I worked with a coach who was so good that every time we got on a call, it felt like an experience. Whenever I saw him on my calendar, I got excited to see how he would pull it off. And every time, without fail, he delivered.
That's the level of mastery we strive to achieve when it comes to the craft of sales. Every time someone has an interaction with you, you bring a little joy to their day. How different would your close rate would be if that was the case? How many more referrals would you get if clients and prospects looked forward to every time your name appears on their calendar.
It's a different ballgame. And that's what we're striving for.
One way to bring this into your sales tool belt is through creating recurring moments of impact.
The baseline for what people expect is so low that this actually works to our advantage. It doesn't take much to make yourself standout from the crowd. We do this at Alluviance at our Arise Immersions where we craft little moments of impact throughout the weekend that take people by surprise. We also strive to do that with every conversation we have with people considering attending a future event.
It's the little things that matter. I know you know this, because you love it when you are on the receiving end of the little things. So do I. It's right there for the taking.
